Terms of Service

Welcome to 509 Connection. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 509 Connection and govern your use of our app and services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use 509 Connection. By using the app you represent that you are 18 or older, that you can form a binding contract, and that you are not barred from using the service under applicable law.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
• Maintain only one account, and do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or age.
• Your account is personal to you and may not be transferred or sold.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm other users.
• Post or share content that is unlawful, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.
• Use the app for solicitation, spam, scams, prostitution, or any commercial purpose without our permission.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use bots, scrape data, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use the app if you are a registered sex offender or have been convicted of a violent or sexual crime.

4. Your content

You own the content you create — your photos, bio, and messages. By posting it, you grant 509 Connection a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content as needed to operate and provide the service. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the rights to it.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Gold. 509 Connection offers an optional paid subscription ("Gold") with additional features, billed through your Google Play account.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price until you cancel. You are charged through Google Play at the start of each period.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Gold until then.
• Refunds. Payments are handled by Google Play and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or by Google Play's policies.
• Prices and features may change; we will give notice of material changes as required.

6. Safety and your interactions with others

509 Connection helps you meet people, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions. Use good judgment, meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and use the in-app block and report tools if something is wrong.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, create risk for us or other users, or as otherwise permitted by law. Some provisions survive termination, including content license (for content already shared), disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will find a match.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 509 Connection will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app or your interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
